Why choose an in-depth analysis?
An in-depth analysis is ideal when you need a thorough accessibility investigation of a single application or component. This analysis is perfect for complex applications such as web apps, forms, or specific functionalities where accessibility is crucial.
The power of focused research
By concentrating on a single application or component, we can analyze every accessibility aspect in detail. We examine not only technical compliance but also investigate user scenarios and provide concrete, implementable solutions.
How an in-depth audit proceeds
1. Choose a suitable date
Together with our planner, you'll select a convenient date for conducting the audit(s). We'll also schedule the advisory meeting and the complimentary re-audit.
2. Audit scope
We focus on one specific application or component and analyze all relevant user scenarios and functionalities in detail. This ensures a thorough evaluation of every accessibility aspect.
3. Start audit
Our auditor performs an in-depth manual inspection based on WCAG 2.2 AA, testing each component of the application with various assistive technologies and usage scenarios.
4. Download the report
Within three weeks, your audit report will be available in the focusring.io dashboard.
5. Advisory meeting
How do you proceed with the findings? During this online advisory meeting, you can ask our auditor all your questions. Together, you'll discuss solutions for success criteria that are not (yet) met.
6. Re-Audit
After 2 months, a re-audit will be conducted to assess the extent to which the website or app has become more digitally accessible since the initial audit!

WCAG as foundation
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) form the foundation of all the research we do. Think of these international guidelines as a handbook for creating a digitally accessible environment.
The four principles of WCAG
WCAG is based on four principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust. These principles form the basis for all our accessibility research.
